[SOLVED] Fear of bottleneck

I got free GeForce GTX 1660, but i wondered is there any reason to put it in
bcs of my old specs. (Fear of bottleneck)
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 945
RAM: 8GB DDr3
GPU(now): AMD Radeon 6800
Power supply: 620w

The CPU will hold it back a bit but it's a massive improvement over your current CPU and it won't hurt the card.

The CPU is going to hold the 1660 back.
Although I think it will get you better performance than the 6800.
But you are going to be wasting a lot of the 1660s potential because your CPU is too slow.

There's no CPU that would fit into that socket that I would pair with the 1660 ti. For this your going to want to upgrade the CPU/MB/RAM (DDR4).

Yea as you'll get better graphics/performance then your current GPU.
