After installing Fedora 20 on my laptop which I had downloaded for ages, probably kernel version 13 when now Fedora 20 is on version 17 I believe, I saw that Fedora 21 had been released last month. I saw that Fedora 20 was running pretty sluggish so I gave the upgrade a go, I upgraded through the Terminal using FedUp, all worked perfectly and as of right now I am running it. But there is no performance optimization whatsoever it seems. So my question is how can I make Fedora 21 a little bit more snappy? My computer runs Windows 8.1 like lightning speed but I love Linux too much to move back and I already have a Windows PC so I really want to get this Fedora 21 on my laptop running as optimal as possible
My laptop specs:
Intel i5-4200M @ 2.50Ghz (3.1Ghz Turbo)
8GB Ram
Intel HD 4600 Graphics (Mobile Version)
