Feed on up coming rig

Hi everyone,

Can I get some feedback on the below items to see if they would provide a suitable upgrade.
Main use is gaming.

MSI Z170A Krait Gaming 3X
Intel Core i5 6600K
Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2A2133C13R 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 Red

For now I'll just be running my Gigabyte HD 7970 until release of one of the AIB RX 480's or 1060's.

My current PSU is 620 W and CoolerMaster Hyper 212X CPU Cooler

I'd suggest the Asus Z170 Pro Gaming or their Z170-A, I won't build on MSI due to their poor QC

I'm guessing you've had issues with MSI in the past? I've never owned Asus or MSI, always had gigabyte but thought MSI was suppose to be quite good.

the asus has been suggested to u for its reliability and rating...its more popular for its reliability...having said that there is no apparent reason that an msi shd be a problem...

the psu doesnt feature too high in quality charts...

For client builds I only use Asus, the Rock and GB, I get more problem calls on MSI than any two other mobo manufacturers put together, so I just build on them 😉

I've been looking at the suggest ASUS boards as well as ASRock Z170 Extreme4 LGA1151 ATX Motherboard. The PSU upgrade will happen after all the other components are purchased.
