Feedback/advice on my first build

Aug 28, 2011
I have been planning my replacement for my old core2duo comp and am just about ready to pull the trigger so I can have it up and running for some of this fall's new games.

I wanted to get some advice and thoughts about the build and see if there is anything that I am overlooking. This will be mostly for gaming, no video editing, some photo editing. I will probably try to oc a little, but since I've never done an oc before, it will be just some minor increases. In the future I will probably add another 570 in sli.

so here goes,

case: Antec DF-85

mb:Asrock P67 Extreme4 Gen3

CPU: I5-2500k (combo w/ HDD)

cooler:Coolermaster Hyper 212+

VGA: EVGA superclocked 570 012-P3-1572-AR

RAM:Corsair DDR3 pc1600 Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8R (combo w/ hx850)

PSU: Corsair HX850 (combo w/ RAM)

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive (combo w/ CPU)

Optical:SAMSUNG Black Blu-ray Combo SATA Model SH-B123L/RSBP LightScribe Support

So, any thoughts on the build, whether I will run into issues during the building process, or if there is something component that will be a better fit?

All feedback is welcome.
