I would like to get some feedback on this build I will be getting very soon. I will be getting the i7 @ microcenter so don't tell me to get the 3570k. :p The mouse, keyboard, and headphones I will be getting adds up to $2oo so the build ends up being around $1,300.

1. Is the case big enough?
2. Do I need the wireless adapter or is the onboard WIFI good enough?
3. Is that CPU cooler going to be enough for this build. (Not going to OC too much/high.
4. Is everything compatible? Meaning, will everything fit, correct PIN numbers from the PSU to the mobo, gfx, etc.
5. Is there room for upgrades on this PC?
6. If there are any better parts to recommend, feel free to do so.

Here is the build: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Solution
1. Is the case big enough?

yes, but it's an old design, I'd get something a bit newer w/ more features such as the 500R - $120 in white / $115 in black
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139010

2. Do I need the wireless adapter or is the onboard WIFI good enough?

On board is Just fine

3. Is that CPU cooler going to be enough for this build. (Not going to OC too much/high.

Ok for moderate OC's

4. Is everything compatible? Meaning, will everything fit, correct PIN numbers from the PSU to the mobo, gfx, etc.

Id also switch the PSU to a Corsair TXm, XFX Core Edition or Seasonic

5. Is there room for upgrades on this PC?

Room in the case, yes....but ya picked a PSU that can do two cards, have a MoBo that can do...

Alright, thanks for the quick reply. If anyone else has feedback/thoughts, please answer! :)

Given your price range, you might consider the 7870 XT. About $30-50 more than the 7870, but it performs nearly as well as the 7950.

Edit: Actually, given that you can go up to $1,400, you could get a 7970, assuming that you'd benefit from more graphics (I am unsure as to the use of this build).

The build I have up there does not include some of my peripherals , a 7970 might not fit. you're welcome to try, just keep in mind I need to have 200 dollars left to fit my peripherals. Thanks for the reply though. :)

Room in the case, yes....but ya picked a PSU that can do two cards, have a MoBo that can do two cards, but given the issues with Crossfire, I can't recommend twin AMD cards at this time

OP needs a wireless card in there too.
His first board had that built in.

I would buy the Bundle with the 3570K save the $40.00 on the bundle sell the 3570k for $200 and then get the 3770K I am a big fan of Microcenter

Ah. I must admit, I avoid Wi-Fi religiously, so I wouldn't have any recommendations there. I suppose he could just go back to the prior mobo, or selet a wireless card seperately.

Alright, thanks everyone for the replies. I think the only changes I am going to make to make are: getting a better PSU (seasonic possibly) and maybe invest in a new case. Thanks for everyone's help, and if it seems like I didn't take one of your advice, sorry for wasting your time.

No worries. If you have to choose between my advice and JackNaylorPE's advice, it's pretty clear which Jack you should choose. I do my best, but he is out of my league. I'm glad that you were helped, whether or not I was involved. Happy gaming!
