Feedback on 3D Blaster Annihilator 2

Can anyone give me any feedback before I purchase the "Creative 3D Blaster Annihilator 2 MX400 Geforce2 MX 32MB DDR PCI Video Card?" I heard something about 64-bitDDR and 128-bit SDR? Something about not being fooled by the "DDR" on this card.

Most MX cards have SDRAM with a 128 bit bus. The Creative has DDR SDram with 64 bit bus.The Creative card is a little slower because of this.

If you buy that PCI card, you are going to be stuck with 32MB of texture memory, no matter what you do. That's not a lot, not for today's newer games, even if it is DDR.

If your mainboard is old enough that it doesn't have an AGP slot ... you might consider upgrading this component to a higher priority, instead of getting a new video card with this kind of limitation. You'd also have wider options for the video card, afterwards.
