If you buy that PCI card, you are going to be stuck with 32MB of texture memory, no matter what you do. That's not a lot, not for today's newer games, even if it is DDR.
If your mainboard is old enough that it doesn't have an AGP slot ... you might consider upgrading this component to a higher priority, instead of getting a new video card with this kind of limitation. You'd also have wider options for the video card, afterwards.
