So I am building myself this PC that I'll put together on PcPartPicker, and I just can't justify getting something that's this expensive without getting some feedback from more experienced individuals (you). I will be using this desktop for light gaming, and other every day tasks such as schoolwork and browsing the web. By light gaming, I mean that I'll be playing GTAV or Garry's Mod every so often. I am not a stickler about having the highest settings possible, I''ll definitely settle for low-high. I need it to be upgradeable for a quite while (that's why I went with the much more expensive INTEL rather than AMD).
Please do not hesitate to be brutally honest. I don't care if you really want to slap me in the face by rebuilding the entire thing. 😀
Here's the build:

Thanks so much!

What exactly do you mean by "light gaming"? At your budget it would be more economical to go with a Haswell + H97 build rather than a Skylake CPU. Normally I would avoid the W1 EVGA PSUs, but if this is isn't going to be used very hard that's fine for this computer. Get back to us about your gaming habits and we'll see about tweaking the build.

Edited ^^

If you want any other info, feel free to ask.

Gotcha. I would stick to a Haswell build to save a little money:

For a budget SSD your original selection of a Kingston 120gb is good. I kept the same case, I figured you liked it (but if you take a cheaper one we could spend the money elsewhere in the build). XFX is a much better power supply.

I only have one question. Why did you bump me down to DDR3? I understand that DDR4 is getting increasingly more popular, and it is more efficient. I figure that it will also help with "future proofing"
