I agree with vapour, don't go with the 7700k. Go for the 8th gen CPUs as they cost the same and deliver more cores. For just gaming, the 8600k is a really good value. I also added a SSD. I would not build a system these days without a SSD. It wont make your fps better in games, but having Windows on a SSD will make the entire PC experience much better. Boot and load times will drastically speed up and the system will feel more responsive.
