Question Feel Sluggish with 3080 Card

So whenver im playing video games and people said 3080 is for 1440p monitor i bought one and everything feel really slow looking around even tho i get 200+ fps and i have set it up to 165 hz, I need help with this issue cause i cant take it anymore

What sync method are you using in relation to your monitor/cable choice?

Nvidia is going to work best with G-Sync or compatible monitors. Additionally, without knowing other factors the result you 'feel' could be from lows. What is the balance of your hardware? What game(s)? And how fast is your internet if this is an online experience?

I am playing rainbow six siege.... same settings with my 1080p monitor, and waht i realized is whenever my lows goes down to 100 fps, it feel ssluggish and my actual fps is 200 - 300 and its annoying me...

you meant that it feels like 100fps while showing 200+?

what are you comparing this "feeling" to?
have you locked the fps at 100 and then compared it to how you claim it "feels"?

Standard 3080 GPU, i7 12700 KF, Samsung g5 165hz 1440p monitor, 32 gb corsair ram, windows 11, 750 w psu, whenever my 1% lows goes all the way down to 100 then it feels really slow movign around but when its above or near my hz, it feels smooth like the actual hz its supposed to, just imagine playing 60 hz when u have it set to 165 hz thats hwo slow it is
