Feeling the itch to upgrade GPU, but not sure it's right time

Not gaming in 4k exclusively yet. My RX 480 is still impressing me in terms of performance at both 1080p and 1440p. I can get an aftermarket vega 64 for around $500. But I also want to wait for the Navi cards. Opinions appreciated.

If the RX480 is doing its job, save the cash up and then splash out on a card that justifies the cost through a good performance boost.
