Question Few FPS below refreshrate feels terrible.

Hello,

On my 144hz monitor, when every I get like 120-130 FPS my game starts to feel choppy and really slow, i got this on a few monitors I tested.

As example one with GSync and it didn't change anything, what could the reasoning be for this?

I have a 1080 ti & i7 7700k.

I tried multiple monitors + PCs etc.

Every game, mainly play Fortnite, 1080 ti 11gb, 16gb ram + 1920 x 1080.
I got it in every game
