Few questions before I turn on PC for first time.

1.First build nearly done connecting everything, fingers crossed. For the GPU it has 8 hole (4+4)
my PCI connection from PSU splits 2 x 6 (the six is 4 + 2), can I connect four part of this PCI cable to fill GPU slots?

2.I also have unused pins at the bottom of my mobo like digital audio connector, a bit of the USB 2 connectors, Maximus 4 ROG_EXT connectors, so is this normal, no connection provided for those.

3.First time I boot my PC, should I connect HDMI to GPU or mobo?

4.None of my fans are connected to mobo as far as I can tell, there is central hub in back where I connected my noctua fans too. (top of mobo has empty CPU FAN and CPU OP).

5. Also have wire connected to fan hub power at back, strange its not connected, ends with black socket 2 pins inside, no clue what to do with it.

1. Yep. You can leave the 2 pins. Make sure it's pcie.

2. You don't need to use all of them. Only the ones you want.

3. If you have GPU, connect cable to GPU.

4. Make sure you have a CPU fan plugged in. Into the CPU FAN header.

Strange thing is my Noctua 2x cable each have 3 pin holes, the CPU fan header has four... another puzzle.

Your computer must detect a CPU fan to start. You can plug 3 pin to 4 pin header no problem. There's only one way to plug it in though.

Asus Maximus VI Hero ATX LGA1150 , with noctua ND-H14, I can merge the two fan cabes into one three pin. If I can push my 3 hole noctua cable into four pin I will pleasantly surprised.
