Ff code on gigabyte GA X58A UD5 motherboard

My first build and on initial startup I rec'd error code FF on my GA X58A UD5 mobo...anyone know what the problem is? I am running an i7 930 with OCZ PC12800 1600 ram.

i was wondering same thing. i have same code with same mobo, same cpu and different ram. I read somewhere else that it is usually a really bad code on other mobo's but on the gigabytes mobo's it wasnt bad. Still not 100% sure though.

We are both fretting over nothing. The error code FF means that it booted successfully.
