Fibre optic/general broadband advice needed

Hi i currently have really low internet speeds around 250kb which makes downloading games and streaming movies very hard
this is caused by our row of 6 houses not having the cables layed that the rest of the street did around 10 years ago
therefore when i enter my postcode i am told i can get fibre optic at 57 mb a second instead of 1mb
could someone with knowledge of this thing tell me whether it should work as i dont want to buy it and not get any benfits

get the wiring to your home directly from the ISP and u should be good..

Call to confirm. They aren't going to take your money until they install the hardware.

leave all the fuss about fiber or not..
if the price is reasonable .. tell them to equip your home with 57mbps connection.. pay them money only if the speeds and ping tests are shown as marketed..

I don't know if that's Federal law or just in California. Where are you? by law I believe our telecomm providers always give 30 days "not-happy" cancellation regardless of what long term service u sign up for.
