Fifa 15 Problem, CPU?

Hi!
A little whle ago I finished my first ever PC build. So now I want to play some games.
But the game I want to play the most, Fifa 15, is lagging like crazy.
My specs:
CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 - 3,2GHZ
Ram: 8gb G.Skill Ares
GPU: XFX R9 270X
Could this problem be because of my CPU only being 2 cores? I know a lot of people is having this problem with lag but it seems to be dealt by different things.
Please Help!

Shows that the G3258 benefits hugely from the OC and can match an i3 speed when OCed , at stock its trailing the pack.
