What do you guys think of the Sunburst mechanic?

It'll be interesting to watch someone else build a T2 domain deck. Lord
knows I have enough trouble managing two colors, let alone five. Too bad
Crystal Quarry isn't legal any more.

Yes, but Vedalken Engineer is :)

Since most of the cards with Sunburst are artifacts, that'll be a good card for
them...and, of course, Glimmervoid, the first 5-color land that made City of
Brass obsolete. :)

There are plenty of good, cheap ways to get all five colors of mana. These,
and Birds of Paradise, Chromatic Sphere, Darksteel Ingot, Star Compass...heck,
even Gilded Lotus might just be viable when Fifth Dawn rolls around...

From the Collected Witterings of Andy Jakcsy, volume 23:

Star Compass is not a good way to get all five colours of mana.

Have you seen the latest find from MTGNews.com?

Fist of Suns 3
Artifact (Rare)
You may pay WUBGR rather than pay the mana cost for spells that you play.

WOTC is building us a deck that uses five colors of mana, Fist of Suns,
Soulscour, and probably Darksteel Forge. T2 domain is back, in a way.
