Figure it my Max ram?

Well I've heard that the max ran depends on how much dimm slots you have (in my case 4) and the highest capacity chip for a personal computer that I know if it's 8gb. So does that mean my max ram is 32gb?

well it depends on your mother board and os a lot of mother board with 4 slot can handle maximum 32 gb of ram ,, and you os if it 32bit it's maximum is 4gb but if it was 64-bit then it can handle 32gb

Google whatever your mobo is and look at the specs. It will tell you the max amount of ram you can use and everything else you need to know as far as the types of ram you need if you are looking to upgrade. If it's a laptop, same thing, just google the model of laptop and look at the specs.
