Figuring Out Drivers

I have been experiencing some fps lag on my computer and I was told to remove all my display drivers. As I was looking into how to do that I came upon an article saying that I should manually update drivers rather than having a program like nvidia experience do it for me. I'm wondering how do i make sure I have the latest version of all my drivers and how do I fully remove all my display drivers before reinstalling if that is what I should do.

To fully remove all your display drivers, use DDU. It removes ALL traces, down to the registry keys. Here is the download to it; just extract it, and run it. Don't worry about going into safe-mode. http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

I recommend Geforce Experience as well. Just download that and it will safely and cleanly update your display drivers.

CPU, Harddrive and RAM do not use drivers. Forget about those.

Your motherboard has Chipset Drivers, SATA, Audio, etc. so you have to manually install those via the website. Just download them on top of each other and they will overwrite the old ones.

No; the previous versions of geforce experience had bugs that did stupid things like can't connect the software to the internet, etc. Now everything is fixed.
