[SOLVED] File Back up/Sync App recommendations

Just got an external SSD and want to get some software that allows me to just plug in the external drive and it will sync up the selected folders.
Those are really my key needs, I just want it to know what to check for and if any files have been changed or added to in the target folders then the software will update the drive.

Can anyone recommend some software (preferably free) that can do this for me?

Are you using Windows 10? If so the built-in File History feature does just this, although you sometimes have to kick off the process manually since you probably won't have it scheduled to run at intervals.
