Question File Directory Completely Scrambled

Good afternoon everyone and Happy 4th!

So above I've posted screenshots of my wife's file directory. One day she says she's going to "organize her files"...I'm thinking she's going to just delete unnecessary files/folders from her desktop but the next day she shows me what you can see in the dropbox images. In all my 20 years of working with computers I have never seen this in my life. I have no idea what she did for this to happen. "This PC' is now a sub chain under "Desktop" and then there is another "Desktop" under this PC".......

Does anybody have any clue how to get this back to default organization?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

That screenshot you shared, is exactly the same as what I have on my system, with my navigation pane starting off with Quick Access: Desktop, Downloads, Documents, Pictures, Videos. Followed by OneDrive. Followed by This PC with the drop down looking exactly like yours and the Networking after that...and I'm on Windows 10. I think you might need to zoom out for us to see a bigger picture, blur any "folders" that might be sensitive but I'm fairly sure that the navigation pane is exactly how it should be.

I think I know what she did, looking at the size of your C drive, she might've dragged and dropped folders/files/drives from right window and/or the navigation pane into Desktop's folder(in said navigation pane).

1. Disregarding ANY potential weirdness, please copy ALL personal data (not incl applications) off to some other drive.
2. The folder/drive of "Lemons said" seems to be a folder on the desktop? Is this correct?
3. Your C drive is FAR too full
