So as shown in the screenshot below, is there anyway to stop Network Locations from ever popping up again every single time I open up file explorer (on windows 10)? It is not necessary for me to have to use it for any reason.
Where it says Network Locations (1), right click.
Select Collapse Group.
While it will still show the header, it should not show any devices under that the next time you open File Explorer.
Even though I can collapse the header and still not show up next time I open it again. It still comes back after a while. Is there any tweaking I can do in either device manager or regedit? Some behind the scene tweaking to make sure that it does not come up again?
Thanks, it seems to work. I did a quick google search for Windows 10 and this has solved the problem https://www.dummies.com/computers/operating-systems/windows-10/how-to-enable-network-discovery-and-configure-sharing-options-in-windows-10/
I opened and closed the File Explorer 5+ times to see if it won't show up again, and it did not show up again. You the man!
