[SOLVED] file folder copies

I can copy directories of file to my external hard drive.

Viewing the hard drive all the folders and files are there

Connect the external drive to a new win 10 pc but the files aren't copied. "your organization does not allow you to place files here "

I cant change permissions as they are greyed out ?

That message shows there are group policy rights setup on the computer, ask whoever setup the system to help you, sounds like a work computer, or at least a computer someone worked on to restrict rights.
