I create a file in Windows 11 on a USB drive. Take the drive to a Windows 10 pc. Then the drive shows no file. I cannot get Windows 10 to show any files created in Windows 11. Why???????
Any type jpg or a backup file or any file just does not show. What type of file?
You're doing something wrong.Any type jpg or a backup file or any file just does not show.
Did you perform safe removal of USB drive, when you disconnected it from windows 11 pc?I create a file in Windows 11 on a USB drive. Take the drive to a Windows 10 pc. Then the drive shows no file.
On windows 11, I plug in a USB drive. Use files explorer to copy a file to this drive. I know it copies the file as it takes awhile to complete. Then take this drive to windows 10. Plug it in. Then look into the drive and it shows nothing on the drive. It happens with a USB stick too. You're doing something wrong.
That is NO problem, even going back multiple Windows versions.
In Win 11, after the copy process, did you verify the files were on the drive? On windows 11, I plug in a USB drive. Use files explorer to copy a file to this drive. I had the same problem a few weeks back, it happened within the same Windows 10 user folders... I saved an image file that by default was supposed to be .png but I saved it to .jpg, next I browsed through Windows Explorer to the location folder, and the file didn't show. Next I saved another copy in .png and had no problem with that file format.Any type jpg or a backup file or any file just does not show.
yes they are.... and I just tried it again and they are now showing. I've had the problem for weeks and just now it started working. I just updated windows 11 do you think that could have fixed it ?????On windows 11, I plug in a USB drive. Use files explorer to copy a file to this drive.
