File question

By the way, sorry if this is not the correct place to post this question
I have two computers running windows xp. On one computer I can see the cab files and the extensions. When I double click on the cab files they open up and I can see what is inside. On the other computer I can only see the cab files. The icon of the cabinet does not show up. I cannot double click on the files to see the contents. I assume this is an association problem. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Explorer|Tools|Folder Options|View uncheck "Hide extensions for ..........."
