I can't access my HDD and windows is asking me to reformat it but i wanted to keep the data so i tried to run CHKDSK and this error shows up i checked on Disk Management And it had errors i tried replugging the SATA Port and it still had the same issue

Can you retrieve a SMART report with a tool such as CrystalDiskInfo?

If the data is very important you send the disk to a data recovery house.

Keep in mind that the more stuff you try might damage the disk further.

If you want to play look into recuva.

Update: The entire disk dissapeared now. It's not available in windows explorer, device manager, nor disk management.
