The file transfer speed is fast untill suddenly... it drops down for whatever reason?
SSD or Windows Problem?

The buffer is a space of fast 'memory'. it absorbs the file at high speed until its full. The controller chip on the drive takes the data from the buffer and writes it to the actual storage part of the drive. Some drives have a dram buffer in addition to using part of the SSD's flash in Single level (SLC) mode (which is faster the Triple (TLC) or quad (QLC/QVO) cell mode but not as fast as a dram buffer. You'll see the SLC buffer called eSLC sometimes becuase the drive is using part of its flash cells, which these days are TLC or QLC, in SLC emulation because it's much faster then writing direct to the TLC/QLC cells.

After the buffer is full is when you'll see the slowdown. Some drives even pause while the controller clears...

After the buffer is full is when you'll see the slowdown. Some drives even pause while the controller clears the buffer and then starts back up again, leaving your graph with pulsing type waveform.
