files disappearing

I just created something.. a dvd cover in Paint shop pro.. and saved it in
My documents folder, and when I go to print it.. the image is not there.
this has happened 3 times now.. it doesn't even show up in the program as a
recent image... this is what happened before my hard drive crashed.. so
don't know if this is related and I have another hard drive about to go..
boy this has not been a fun few days! Any help always appreciated.. Rainy

Do a search for all files with the extension you used.... it may be
somewhere else.

thanks Cari.. I did that.. no luck in finding them... something is terribly
wrong with my computer... no virus or trojan or worm.. have done a thourough
scan to make sure.. but maybe there is something I need to do after I lost
the drive.. like in bios or something.. ? thanks Rainy
