Question Files hidden on second HDD

So I just got my new computer hooked up and made a SSD my primary drive, and put my old HDD as my secondary, but I couldn't access the Users file so I had to change the permissions but now even when I go into it a lot of my files are hidden, like AppData. Now the primary issue here is that I want to install Spotify since I can't access it, but it won't let me install it until I uninstall the other version but I can't delete it without access to AppData -- it's a catch22.

Also, if it's possible, my old Google Chrome had a bunch of bookmarks but they weren't saved to an account, is there a way to get those back?

You're advised to back up all critical data prior to migrating or reinstalling the OS. If possible hook the HDD up to the older system and then backup all your relevant data. You can then format the drive that once held the installed OS on the HDD and then move forward with the installation of the app's you're looking at.
