i used the folder locker method given on this website. it worked well. But then i used the same to lock a folder on my hard disk. it went well till the time hard disk was attached to the laptop. but once i removed it and attached it next time, there were no files in the locked folder. all files had lost. i don't know whether its path has changed or they have been deleted or anything else.
Then i used a third party software available in the public domain- "Ease us data recovery". On scanning the hard disk, it showed me all my files but then it asked for subscription to recover the data.
kindly advice me is there any way out to recover the files other than buying this costly software.
