files not showing in media player 12

Hi guys,

I recently formatted my hard drive and I used to be able to see my video files when I opened them in media player 12.

They still work in it but when I go to open if I don't select any file on the right they are not visible. Which is strange because they never did that before. I did install fddshow and select the media player as my default so not sure why its not showing them now when it did before.

Since it's a new setup, you need to put the files into the media player index and if you are talking about the recently used file list, that will be gone after a clean setup.
