[SOLVED] Files opening but cant use them

so i was just randomly playing r6 until it just crashed (this has never happened before) and then i realised i couldnt alt + tab into any programs that i had opened. this includes file explorer and google chrome. i tried restarting windows explorer and then my pc but that didnt help. whenever i open a file explorer and google chrome it opens but stays invisible. ive also done a malwarebytes scan. any help/fixes?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS.

Try running "sfc /scannow" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt.

If that does not help, then use Reliability History and Event Viewer to look for error codes and warnings that occurred just before or at the time of the crashes.
