I am going to build myself a new rig for gaming and some light productivity. I currently have an AMD based gaming PC that is past its time. However there are still some great components I want to salvage and use in the new system. Here are the parts I will be keeping and using:
Currently Re-using:
1) EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G1 120-G1-1000-VR 80+ GOLD 1000W Fully Modular
2) Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB ATA Device
3) Kingston HyperX Fury Memory Black 16GB 4X4GB DDR3-1600 CL10
4) Keyboard and mouse.
Monitor I have in mind:
1) Samsung - C34F791 34.0" 3440x1440 100Hz Monitor
Parts Needed:
1) Processor - I am leaning towards Intel - Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
2) Motherboard
3) Video Card(s)
4) Cooler
5) Case - I do not need tempered glass as the PC will be on my left.
6) Memory change?
My budget is about $3000 Canadian, I have a little extra for additional fans, etc. I am excited to see what the community comes up with, thanks in advance!!
