Hi i am running a Medion Erazer x7825 Gaming laptop. I believe the key board should have backlight ability but it has never worked since i got it new from ebay. Ive checked in windows 10 and theres no slider icon to illuminate the keyboard? and also the sticker from the bottom of the laptop is missing so i dont know the Article Number. I have run Everest and the system information to see if it shows the info but just says Filled in by O,E.M.
To solve the backlight i beleve theBios needs updating but i dont know how to do this. Ive been on Medion site and there asking for the Article Number which i dont have!!
Can you please help

If you try accessing the bios can you find it there?

Ive been on cmd prompt and ive entered: wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer,version.serialnumber

You need to contact the laptop seller a refund. BIOS password and a missing product sticker screams of a scam.

Its been three year now. I aint got a cat in hells chance in contacting them now it was from a Ebay shop

For assistance in removing the bios password you need to contact the laptop manufacture.
