Fillings Screen In Sony Vegas Pro 14

So I'm trying to work in a resolution of 1080x1080 and all the clips that I want to work with are in some other ratio. How do I get the clips to fill the screen? I don't care if the edges of the clip get cut off the only thing I don't want it for the footage to be stretched. Thanks in advance

Go into each clip's Video Event FX, turn off "Maintain Aspect Ratio" and set the Width and Height to 1080 (if you truly want a square ratio). Make sure you're at the beginning keyframe of the clip. Edges would be cropped out.
