Custom: Corsair RM1000x Shift Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

I decided to go for air cooling for more reliability and lifespan as it was suggested by a lot of people.
I was thinking about (3x) Noctua NF-A14 PWM front as intake and (1x) back and (3x)Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM top as exhaust. Is this a good setup?
Other problems/changes with the build?

The build looks fine actually. In fact you have 2 other threads of the same nature;
with minor edits but essentially the same topic/nature.

Yeah i wanted more info about the case fans config this time because i haven't asked before. The other parts i'm 99% sure. I'm ordering parts this week and wanted a final idea if thats not a problem for you.

Those fans are OK, but.....................

Does your motherboard have 7 fan connectors?

It's anybody's guess whether 7 fans will be better than 4, 5, or 6, but maybe you just want to fill up all available fan mounts?

You'll have to come to a conclusion on the trade-off between noise and temperatures. That's personal preference.

If temps terrify you, you may have to spin the Noctuas at say 2000 rpm or higher and they'd be quite audible.

If you hate noise, maybe you spin them at 1000 rpm or less and live with higher temps than you'd like.

You can't accurately predict the results anyway, so prepare for experimentation.

I saw it has 8 fan headers, so i guess it's ok. But fans can be connected in other ways too.
I don't know if i have to use all 7 of them, that's why i made the thread to get an opinion what is the best solution. The less the better as i save some bucks, especially with the noctua fans.

You can't determine "best" (whatever that means to you) without trial and error experimentation. Anything else is pure speculation.

Buy maybe 4 fans. If unhappy with those 4 regardless of their location, orientation, or speed, then buy more. I certainly wouldn't just jump in and buy 7 at near 30 dollars each. But suit yourself as always.

Maybe you can tolerate temps of X or maybe you demand X minus 10. That's all up to you. X minus 10 might require 8 fans. Trial and error to eventually find out.

Yeah i get your point. Sorry my ignorance as I dont know much about these things, but i guess thermals are more important than noise for me .I was a little sceptical since i am going for a air cooler and dont want to have any overheating. But if 4 fans are enough, then i can work with that. And will see later if i need any changes.

Yeah i know 😅 But for the time being those are ok for me i can add later if needed.
Trust me, spend the extra $40 now. It's worth not having to move things later... Or at least putting it off. I thought 2 1tb would be enough when I built a few years ago, now I've got 2 2tb and will probably be getting at least 1 4tb, possibly 2, around Black Friday.

The NHD15 will put most AIO water-cooling to shame. It'll be fine. That thing is massive.

Thats what i heard thats why i switched. And i will probably run eco mode most of the time
Maybe 10 years ago. The Noctua is a great air cooler, but now there are better air coolers for cheaper, and certainly much better AIOs for around 100-120 dollars.
