If you prefer not to overclock then yes it's a good build although you may want to grab a budget aftermarket cooler as the Intel stock coolers are junk and will be quite loud cooling that 8700.

Another suggestion would be to lower the SSD to 500gb and then use the rest of your budget for a HDD for storage, you'll save a considerable amount of money, maybe put that towards a 1080 instead of the 1070 ti.
