Hello, I am new on the whole pc building area but I have been doing my research. Although I thought I should still get some insight on what I plan on building.

This is the build I was thinking: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Y67tvV

I understand that the RX 580 is overly priced at the moment by about 50 dollars but if the price doesn't come down I do plan on just getting a gtx 1060 3gb. I also plan on adding an SSD later down the line.

What do you guys think?

You chose DDR4-3000 Memory, but your motherboard only supports DDR4-1866 / 2133 / 2400 / 2666 / 2933 / 3200 memory and the max speed suppored by your CPU is 2667MHz. You're going to have to get different memory, but besides that, everything looks great!

I would dump the CPU cooler as I doubt it's much better then the stock AMD Wraith cooler and I agree with getting faster RAM, 3200 would work well. The GTX 1060 6gb is cheaper so I would go with that over the 580. The case is nice but I would go with something with better airflow so you won't need to buy another fan. With the money saved from a few changes will allow you to get a decent 240gb SSD.

The platform cost is about the same for R5 1600+B350+8GB3200DDR4 vs i3 8100+Z370+16GB2666DDR4 so it is advisable to get 16GB now as some games are already pushing past 8GB RAM requirement for 1080p.

Crucial BX300 480GB with their latest gen 3D NAND so that performance is about as good a SATA SSD could be with enough space for the 50GB+ games that are coming out these days. Avoid the SSD Plus as it's a SSD with variable BOM and it is possible for you to end up with a DRAMless model/part with lower performance & reliability.
