I think I've finally found all the parts to the computer I want to build. What do you guys think?

In any case, the i7 2600K is defiantly not "future-proofing" especially when the 2500K performs at 98% of the 2600K in gaming. The HT isn't even a huge improvement. If you want "future-proofing" you would wait for Ivy Bridge. At this point in time though, nothing will "future-proof" because it's hard to say with this transition in tech.

I.E, we expected the 5850/6850 to last a long time in gaming. It has, but with BF3's Alpha, we've started to question the tech we're using. Especially since at 1920x1080 the 570 is needed to run BF3 smoothly.
As for CPU, the 955 still lasts to date and that was 3 years ago. So, there is no need to future proof now. Just save the money and upgrade later.

For the GPU, pay a little more and you get a better card.

$5 more and you get a 750w HCG Antec, equally as good but more wattage.

For the motherboard, I used to recommend the Extreme4 a lot, but now it's just to expensive for the boards out. Z68 offers more features and has become cheaper than P67.
This board saves you a $20 offering similar performance.

Yeah I already have the GPU and PSU, I just put them to make sure it's all compatible.

IMHO, I would NEVER buy a plastic computer case!

I've heard that, but I've also heard that the Cooler Master is very sturdy. Are there any that you recommend? The Enforcer is as big as I can get, nothing taller than 19 inches 🙁

The 2600K is clocked 3% faster than the 2500k and over all performs about 6% better .
Since you can easily clock the 2500K 6% faster [ and much more ]without even changing the cooler] then the 2600k becomes an expensive waste of money for people who think there is future proofing .
There isnt .
By january all current sandy bridge processors will be last years junk.

Spend the $100 you save on 1600MHz RAM ,

A Z68 motherboard

and a decent graphics card
