Can someone give me a yes or a no if this build will work?

Also what would be the best OS for this build?

Isn't this like the third thread you have created on this same topic? Why?

Like I said before in another thread, there is no real point in DDR2-1066 unless you are going to for a FSB of 500 or more, those DDR2 800 G. Skill PI Blacks that I pointed you at would be a better option. Also the WD6401AALS is a faster HDD for just a few bucks more, and might be worth it, but that is up to you.

Understandable, but having a bunch of different threads on the same topic gets confusing because not everyone knows what has been said concerning your topic. Its much easier just keeping everything on the same thread so all the info is in one place.

Anyways, this is the MB I was talking about, it gives you free shipping on the whole order:

dude do yourself a favour and ditch that PSU from Futureshop and get a reputable brand from like Corsair, Antec, or PC Power & Cooling etc.

Antec Truepower New 750W
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=36264&vpn=TP%2D750&manufacture=Antec&promoid=1001

Corsair TX750W
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=26415&vpn=CMPSU%2D750TX&manufacture=Corsair&promoid=1001

PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Quad 750W
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=22071&vpn=S75QB&manufacture=PC%20Power%20&%20Cooling&promoid=1001

all on sale right now and are cheaper than that Rocketfish PSU, save your gift cards and buy nice LCD monitor.

good luck

Yeah I missed the PSU, definitely skip on the Rocketfish, that is way too high a price for that PSU. Lol that Future Shop place has a miserable selection for PC hardware.

I don't know but most of my parts come from diect canada. When a compare prices between 2 or 3 sites they always come first. May be on some item is 5 or 10$ more then ncixx but at the end with shipping and handling it's pretty rare direct canada will be beat.
And before someone ask , I don't work for direct canada ;-)

Which one of these monitors would be the best for that ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics card?

One of the Dell Ultrasharp monitors would look the best, but I wouldn't get any larger than a 22" screen for that GPU, it won't be able to keep up too well. My GTX 260 216 is about right for my 19" monitor that I have for the games I play, the games you play will determine how large a monitor your GPU can handle, look at benchmarks to get an idea. You want 30-40FPS at least.

i think im going to get this one http://www.costco.ca/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=10323185&whse=BCCA&Ne=4000000&eCat=BCCA|84|1680&N=4008620&Mo=12&No=10&Nr=P_CatalogName:BCCA&cat=1680&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-CA&Sp=C&topnav=
