Any backstory on this build? Could you explain the reason behind the parts?

Other than the fact that it's super expensive, I don't see anything wrong with it other than maybe a better SSD -- Samsung 840 Pro. Don't think you'll need 256GB of SSD storage, but then again, you didn't explain why.

yea thanks i just cut back a little now its just under 2k
my goal was to designa gaming super computer 😛 i think the memory is needed

Few questions:

1. Any reason you chose a ROG motherboard? You just personally like it and aren't willing to change it or it was just the best you could find and you would like a just as equally good motherboard for less money?

2. Do you need 256GB of SSD storage space?

3. Do you need GTX 670 SLI?
