For Christmas, I'm looking to build a Gaming PC. I've got a list of parts:

Does anything look not right/bottlenecked? I'm not really sure on the GPU. 3 gigs of Video memory seems pretty good. Plus it has crossfire support (hehehe..)

I already have the OS and a mouse and keyboard.

Let me know your opinions!

I'd not get the CX 600 PSU, they are not very high quality ( I bought one when they first came out - it has had issues from day 1 ). As for the rest of the build it isn't bad but if you can manage it I'd suggest getting an intel i5 CPU and a GTX 970. That would up the cost by about $200 but would be well worth it (the comp might last a year or more longer). Just a thought... Is your "budget" flexable at all?

I cannot go any more than I already am, sadly. $850 would probably be my limit.

Alright, I'll see what i can put together at that price point.

Better card, but much cheaper.

I guess the rebate thing isn't showing up as I'm outside the US. Th e 270x seemed to be going for more @ $217.

The 270x costs more because he picked a 4gb card.... the 270x will not take advantage of much more t han 2gb and is a weaker card than the 280 3gb... As Trenchcoat said - Don't get the 270x 4gb when you can get a 280 or even a 280x for cheaper.

Lol thats funny i just clicked the link for the $189 GPU you had linked... it shows it costing $169.99 at newegg for me.

Yeah $20 rebate. Great price for a great piece of hardware. Must be that the rebates aren't showing up for me.
