So im down to my last part before i order everything. And with covid stuff is out of stock. So i need your help my system is tdp is 385 but i plan to overclock my 3600x and rtx 2060. Idk what wattage and brand psu to go with and need your help. I always trusted evga and corsair based on their reviews but now ppl say they are bad. Ive been advised to look at Thermaltake and other brands but I've never used them and don't know if u would. Below are my system specs, please look at them and offer your suggestion. AND I ONLY BUY SEMI MODULAR PSU PLZ

Prices and availability are problematic right now. Here's a solid model that's in-stock and the price is pretty good. It would not normally be my first choice but it's still a good unit.
Antec Earthwatts Gold Pro 550W
A better model-
Corsair RM550x

No. Not a very good model and not a match for your build. You should be using a higher quality model.

Check this article about overclocking the 3600x-
Overclocking Ryzen 3600x
Ok I'm prob gonna go with a corsair one tmrw idk yet depends if Newegg gets any in stock tmrw. But in your opinion how long will this build last in 1080/ 1440p gaming before haveing to upgrade cpu/gpu ?

Which model from Corsair? The lower end Corsair models would not be the best choice for your system, such as CV, VS or even CX models. The TXM would be a good place to start or the RMx models if they are available.

Your build should be good at 1080p for at least 5+ years. At 1440p depends on how taxing and innovative newly developed games become. Current triple A titles right now at 1440p played on a system with your proposed specs should be able to maintain 45-60 fps on high settings, but this will vary from game to game with some doing better and others not so much. I would not expect to play 1440p on ultra settings, at high fps > 100, with a rtx 2060 but some games may be able to. As with any game you'll need to adjust settings for the best balance of performance vs visual quality on a per game basis.
