Final PC Review, Ordering parts monday-ish, Are these compatible?

Items Purchased already or that I already own:

21.5 Inch Acer 1080p monitor
XFX Radeon 5770 1GB
500 GB Caviar Black SATA Hard Drive
CM Storm Sniper Black Edition Case
Asus DVD-RW Drive


Pretty much set on the power supply and cpu, unless i can save some bucks on the power supply, but i dont wanna cut a corner if i decide to over clock down the road.

PSU:

These two mother boards look similiar but which is better? Say for overclocking and everything that i would need? Are these good brand motherboards or? I am probably going to crossfire two 5770s down the road.
Motherboard:

ASRock 880G EXTREME3 AM3 AMD 880G HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
or
ASRock 870 EXTREME3 AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

RAM:
These sound the same so im a lil confused here.

Also will the cpu come with a cooler and heat sinks and will those be sufficient for stock speeds and some overclocking?

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB CAS7 is the better set of RAM
PSU: The 650W Corsair 650TX is plenty of power for overclocking and a future 2nd 5770 video card.

For you and your HD 5770 the ASRock 870 EXTREME3 is just fine.

Ah ok can i ask what the different chipsets actually do? like 870 compared to a 890 latest? just wanted to make sure im not missing anything.

Ah ok they look pretty darn good,
a few questions tho, what is Esata port for? I noticed the 870 only has one?
I just wanted to make sure down the road if i want to add say another dvd-rw and hard drive everything will work, like expandability? Also will 650watt support that?

Also the audio differences, will that make it bad quality etc?

External SATA hard drive.
The audio differences are minor; you probably couldn't tell them apart in most cases. All support 7.1 channel speakers and support HD Audio/Blu-Ray content. The 880G/890G are a little more geared to high end HTPC.

650W Corsair 650TX will support all those upgrades you listed easily, and more besides.

I thought chipset had something to do with video cards, but now since i read the comparison im thinking they mean traits of the motherboard all together and not a speed thing. So im going to probably grab that 870 its affordable and pretty beast lol.

You can look over the Asus website and even download the manuals to get an early look while you're waiting for the delivery.

Sorry this is my first pc build, i know alot about swapping parts but ive never put a whole one together before, kinda nervous alot of cash in this thing lol.

Also is the ram worth the extra almost 10 bux over the other g skill ram?

Definitely compatible, including the stuff you already own.

You asked about a little overclocking earlier and about the stock AMD CPU cooler. There is a CPU in the retail package and it would be OK for light overclocking.
An aftermarket CPU cooler is a good option if you want to go a little futher in ramping up the CPU speed.
