Final question for this build- what will it run

Well, if it's not, no single card configuration is likely to be.

It's not about multitasking, it's about driving the resolution. I think you would be much better off going with two 970's if cost is a factor, which it always is. Of course, two 980's is better but if you overclock the pair of 970's you'll likely find it sufficient at a much lower price.

that's a sweet build.
I would guess you can run every mod for skyrim in ultra as long as you dont go 4k.

I made a very similar build myself and i would be bummed out if it wouldn't cause i play that game too

But if you're planning to game at 1490, which is not a 4k resolution, a single 970 or 980 should be fine for ultra settings on a single monitor.

If you think I'm bad, take a look at i7baby, SR71-blackbird and Tradesman1. Those guys really cover a lot of ground. 'Course, two of them are mods, so that's to be expected.

Plus I work full time, two jobs. But I own both businesses and work out of my home office so I am able to fudge my time a little here and there.
