Hello, sorry I've made a thread about this already, I'm packed with so many questions, and no one can answer them for me, so I have to make a new thread every time I have a question if I can't find my answer on google.
Anyway, my question is Will the 4790k overclocked to 4.7 - 4.8 GHz paired with the Radeon R9 380X do a good job, if I'm doing mostly 1080p, rare occasion 4k, and possibly sometimes 720p videos, ranging from 1 minute to 30 minutes in length, as well as 1080p (most of the time) or 4k (maybe) rendering.
I really don't care how long it takes to process the video, or picture if I'm rendering. As long as it doesn't run for days (I don't want my computer wasting that much power), and as long as my processor can handle the time it needs.
I am going to stress this: I will not upgrade to the 5820k. If you didn't hear me, I will not upgrade to the 5820k. The 5820k will fit in my budget — but the X99 motherboard, and expensive DDR4 RAM will not, adding on to the fact that the 5820k costs 90 bucks more. Speaking of RAM, I'll be using 16 Gigs to start, and an upgrade to 32 gigs later in the future. And while we're on this topic, my power supply is gold efficiency, so I'd prefer 24 hours at most for rendering/editing times.
Thanks
