Final suggestion post.

Thanks for all your help yesterday, folks.

After taking into mind that I don't use AF, or FSAA. Nor do I really care about heavy DX9 performance.

I will likely go with a Geforce 4 Ti card, since you folks say they're just as solid on an actual performance level as a ATI Radeon 9600 otherwise.

But, I do have a few more bits.

Firstly. Should I grab a 128 meg, or 64 meg? Just double checking, reading some more, an Anandtech review voted for the 128, and a friend of mine said that 128 meg cards also had some optimizations over what they originally had?

Also, what are the performance levels of the overall Ti line, and what do you think is the best value?

The 64 Meg cards perform exactly the same as the 128 meg versions almost. Even thought the 128 Meg version has more memory than the 64 Meg, the 64 Meg card has memory clocked @ 500 MHz while the 128 Meg card has memory clocked @ only 444 MHz. THe 128 Meg card costs alot more than the 64MB anyways. Infact in some cases, the faster memory on the 64MB card makes it pull ahead of the 128 Meg card by a nose. So go with the 64Meg definitely.
