Looks great to me. The only thing I would do differently is get a 1920x1200 monitor instead. But that is more personal preference then anything.

Looks good for the price. I'm a fan of high end monitors without TN panels. But a 24" at that price with so many good reviews on Newegg can't be bad.

Again a monitor is mostly personal preference. There was nothing wrong with your original other then it was not what i would have chosen :).

I do think you will be more happy with 1920x1200 as opposed to 1920x1080 though.

Both those monitors you chose will do fine in that setup. Your build looks good to me, I might go for a GTX 280 instead but if that is too far out of the price range then go ahead with that build, it will be good.

ok will change to 24" lot of screen

That should be all, I think.

Maybe a wrist-strap, if you want. It's not absolutely necessary, if you're careful to avoid electrostatic sparks.

TV tuner, sound card, printer, card reader (if you have a camera or camcorder)? These can all be added later, of course.

what type of card reader would good

What type of camera do you have, and what type of Flash cards do you use with it? That is, SD, SDHC, xD, Sony, what? The most important thing is to get a reader that knows the format you need.
