find cd keys

Does anyone know how I can find the keys from cd games that I have installed on my computer. let me know

If you bought the game in a retail outlet the CD key will be on the back of the manual.
If you bought the game on Steam, right click the game in your steam games library and navigate to "view CD key"
If you pirated the game and came here for help I recommend you get your head examined.

or (like myself) he bought the game years back but now wishes to download it on steam so he can buy stuff like dlc and other things for it but lost the box with the cd key on it

Well then you are out of luck. You don't get a free copy of the game as a replacement since you lost you original one.
