[SOLVED] Find me good GPU intensive games

The title says it, I have a fx4300 and gtx1050 and I am bored of playing esport games like Overwatch and cs:go and want to play some popular games with minimal bottlenecks and 60fps on at least medium-high. Any suggestions?

At the end of the day, a 1050 can be classified a 1080p/60Hz/Medium card at best on average.

A better way to look at things, would be to decide what you want to play and see how you fare. That's exactly why Steam has a refund policy if a title does not run well on your hardware - to try it out.

While an FX4300 is a dated, relatively weak CPU... it's still "ok". Paired with a 1050, it's fairly well balanced and should allow you to play most titles available today. On some, you will almost certainly be looking at the 'low' preset + some tweaks however.

It's not like that. Having a bit of a CPU bottleneck will still be a problem even with GPU intense games. What ends up happening is the GPU has to wait for the CPU to calculate the rendering data before it can render the scene, so the GPU can't perform to it's full potential.

The only real way around it is upgrading your CPU, MB, and RAM. It would have more staying power had you bought a 1050 Ti though, as the 1050 is a bit weak for a lot of today's games. You'll have to settle for Med or even less on some games even WITH a better CPU.
