I have been having skin issues on my right hand and I think it is caused by an allergy to plastic and am trying to find a mouse that doesn't use plastic in any surface that I would have contact with. I would prefer that the mouse have a gaming grade sensor and be fairly large. I currently have a Logitech g500s and I like its shape and size.

I have seen two dermatologists about it both prescribed creams and told me to try and find what was causing the allergic reaction. I had seen the bamboo mouse before but I was hoping to find a gaming mouse or at least one that was a bit bigger.

Tape a piece of paper over the mouse, with a cutout for the scroll wheel.
See what happens.

Or try wearing a latex or nitrile glove.

it will be extremely hard to find a mouse without ANY plastic on it at all.

the steelseries wow mouse a few other mice have quite a bit of metal on them however do have some plastic parts. this is common on most gaming and casual mice.

the mouser mouse is wood and metal with rubber wheel

if plastic is your issue then what about rubberized coatings on mice? the sensei raw, mionix castor and various other mice are mostly covered with a coating. the side buttons may be plastic still though.

as mentioned earlier, you can find various wooden mice on the market as well. they may be a bit heavy or odd to use with fast paced movement though but i havent used them so have no idea how well they handle.

if you have trouble with plastic... how do you find a keyboard fine? most are plastic. various other containers, the pc case and other life items are plastic as well.

i'm thinking you may have some other condition unless you have noticed such reactions throughout your entire life.

A few years ago I suffered a chemical burn on my right hand since then the skin on my right hand has become hypersensitive. The most sensitive areas are my thumb and index finger.

I would have replied sooner but I was having login issues.
